The new Whisper Max is a deluxe version of the standard original Whisper fan with additional features:
1) COOLING: Nitro switch allows you to change between 12v and 5v power, more than doubling your air output with the press of a single button! Suitable for use with "game mode" and "movie mode"
2) LIGHTING: One product, 3 colors. When you install your whisper, you can choose between Blue, Green, or Red lights, or not install any at all. You can even change colors later.
3) QUALITY: Ball bearing construction is higher quality, lasts longer.

The heatsinks included are self adhesive. You take off a paper backer and press them gently onto the chip.

2. HOW DOES THE NITRO BUTTON WORK?

The nitro button sits on the center of one of the fan motors, in a "dead spot" where it does not interfere with airflow. The button itself sticks out of the case through one of the existing air ventilation holes. To activate the Nitro mode, reach to the back of the case and press the button.

3. WHEN INSTALLING THE WHISPER MAX, CAN YOU SKIP THE NITRO SWITCH?

The Whisper Max has a native 3 pin fan plug, the same that is on the Xbox 360 Elite. It also comes with a 3 pin to 4 pin converter. You can plug the Whisper Max directly into the motherboard, and it will run in 5v mode just like a standard Xbox fan. You do not need to use the nitro switch assembly if you do not want to.
